Trita Parsi, a Middle East foreign policy expert and author of “Treacherous Alliance – The Secret Dealing of Iran, Israel and the United States,” will visit UNC on Wednesday to lecture on the previously unknown story of American and Iranian negotiations during the beginning of the Obama presidency.

The topic is the subject of Parsi’s new book, “A Single Roll of the Dice – Obama’s Diplomacy with Iran,” published Jan. 24.

The book considers whether Obama’s administration has failed in its diplomacy toward Iran and how the U.S. can best address future negotiations.

The lecture will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Nelson Mandela Auditorium in the FedEx Global Education Center. It is open and free to the public. Free parking is available at the center.
