CUAB, the Carolina Union Activities Board, will host popular sex columnist Dan Savage on Thursday, Feb. 2 in Memorial Hall at 6:30 p.m.
Savage, founder of the “It Gets Better” project and regular columnist of “Savage Love” at The Stranger, will answer the audience’s questions relating to relationships, love and sex. The “It Gets Better” project was created by Savage in 2010 after he and his husband made a YouTube video addressing the issue of young people facing harassment. “It Gets Better” aims at encouraging the support of the LGBTQ movement. In 2010, the project had raised more than $100,000.

Grace Peter, the culture chairwoman for CUAB, warns that Savage’s talk will not be PG and Savage holds little back from his audience.
Free student tickets are available at the Memorial Hall Box Office. Tickets for faculty, staff and the general public cost $5. All tickets are general admission.

WRONG! It doesn't get better if you get AIDS. It is then that, in addition to the guilt you already feel,…that the nightmare really begins.
But don't expect these fellows to be of any encouragement to you then…because the only thing they want to hear is that "it is getting better."
